food for thought

As you read this blog, it’s probably important for you to know that I’m an ova-lacta vegetarian. That means I don’t eat any meat (and yes, I consider fish a meat — I’m a vegetarian, not a pescatarian), but I do eat eggs and dairy. If I didn’t, I’d be a vegan…a lifestyle that demands a far stronger will than my own. I do my best to buy organic, buy local, and to support food establishments that do the same. It’s not always easy, but those places are out there and I think they’re worth supporting.
