These cheese enchiladas poblanas, served up in a rich mole poblano sauce, made my day. No, they made my trip to California a few months ago. I stayed with a friend in Nob Hill, and we went to this wonderful place called Parilla (“Casual Latin Dining” is their subtitle). Its high ceilings and friendly waitstaff, coupled with the delicious food, made this one of my stomach’s happiest encounters in months. I’m only a little embarrassed to admit that my plate was empty in under five minutes.
